Receptionist / Office Administrator

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and flexible individual to join our Business Support Team in our busy central Bristol office. You will be the first point of contact for clients, contractors and colleagues, delivering high‑quality customer service across phone, email, Microsoft Teams and in‑person interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls, emails and visitors, providing a professional first impression.
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, arrange courier services and manage internal mail flow.
- Coordinate travel bookings for staff, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and smooth execution.
- Book and prepare meeting rooms, documenting requirements and ensuring timely set‑up.
- Support internal and external events such as office socials, summer and Christmas parties, and client gatherings.
- Conduct regular building walks to maintain tidiness and health‑and‑safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels, order office supplies and consumables as needed.
- Provide central support to other office locations to ensure consistent service.
- Assist IT, HR, Marketing, Finance and Management teams when required.
Required profile
- Clear communication skills with strong command of English, including spelling and grammar.
- High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm and professional during busy periods.
- Positive, hands‑on attitude with a willingness to drive process improvements.
