Recruitment Consultant – Financial Services (Hybrid)

About the role

Reed is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its Financial Services division in Newcastle. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for financial services professionals while building strong client and candidate relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business and grow existing client accounts within the financial services market.
• Build relationships with hiring managers and key decision‑makers.
• Source, interview, and place candidates across a range of financial services roles.
• Negotiate terms and manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process.
• Drive revenue growth for your desk and meet sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment or business development, preferably within financial services.
• Strong sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a full pipeline.
