Reflection Room Officer – Behaviour Support

About the role
We are looking for a calm, resilient and confident individual to manage the school's Reflection Room. The role supports secondary‑aged students by providing a structured environment for reflection, completing classwork and preparing for a successful return to lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise students referred to the Reflection Room throughout the school day.
- Promote a calm, purposeful and respectful learning environment.
- Guide students to reflect on their behaviour and develop positive strategies.
- Assist students in completing classwork assigned by teaching staff.
- Liaise with pastoral leaders, teachers and senior leadership regarding student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour incidents and interventions.
Required profile
- Experience working with secondary‑aged students in a school, youth work or similar setting.
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Patient, resilient and empathetic approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Residence within or ability to travel to South London.
