About the role
COS is seeking an experienced retail leader to steer its flagship and key market stores across Central and South Europe. The role, internally titled Regional Head of Sales, carries the scope and influence of a senior executive overseeing a large European retail portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Define and deliver the strategic direction for the European retail business, balancing short‑term results with long‑term sustainable growth.
- Maintain a data‑informed view of performance across all markets, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, optimise stock and increase profitability.
- Partner on store portfolio evolution, including new openings, relocations and refurbishments, ensuring relevance and consistency.
- Champion a service‑led culture, elevating the in‑store experience and setting a benchmark for premium retail.
- Drive operational excellence across markets, ensuring efficiency, consistency and adaptability within local frameworks.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and HR to deliver aligned, end‑to‑end plans and strengthen the omnichannel experience.
- Shape the retail organisation’s structure and capabilities, coaching senior retail leaders and building a future‑focused talent pipeline.
- Contribute as a core member of the European Leadership Team, ensuring retail insights inform broader business decisions.
Required profile
- Strong alignment with COS values: open‑minded, curious, daring, committed to continuous improvement and ownership.
- Proven senior retail leadership experience within a multi‑country European context.
- Strategic clarity combined with strong commercial judgement.
- Ability to build, inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills.
