Regulatory Paralegal – 6‑Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

The Fitness to Practise team of a leading UK regulator is seeking a Regulatory Paralegal on a six‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Working hybrid, you will support investigations into professional conduct, ensuring cases progress efficiently through statutory processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess risk and gather evidence for investigations concerning professional conduct.
• Prepare and progress cases through the regulatory process in line with statutory requirements.
• Draft case summaries and briefing materials for panel consideration.
• Manage a high‑volume caseload while prioritising competing deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information securely.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months experience in investigations, regulatory work, or litigation case handling.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proven capacity to work independently on a high‑volume caseload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to pass DBS and pre‑employment screening.
