Religious Education Teacher – Secondary School (Full‑time)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a secondary school in South East London. The position starts in September 2026 and is a permanent, full‑time role.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess RE lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable).
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
- Monitor and support pupil progress and attainment.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including pastoral duties and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to student progress.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and two recent professional references.
