Residential Property Fee Earner – Future Head of Department

About the role

We are looking for a driven Residential Property Fee Earner to manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters. The position offers the chance to develop expertise and eventually step into a Head of Residential Property role within our well‑established firm in Petersfield.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, including freehold, leasehold, transfers and remortgages.
• Maintain high standards of client care, building strong relationships and encouraging repeat business.
• Liaise proactively with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
• Draft, review and oversee all conveyancing documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload (paralegal, fee earner or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Legal qualification (LLB, CILEx, LPC, SQE or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office.
