Residential Property Lawyer – Manchester (2+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join a highly regarded real‑estate team in Manchester. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, providing clear, commercially‑focused advice to private clients, investors and lenders.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new‑build properties, auction transactions and bridging finance matters.
• Work autonomously while receiving support from an experienced partner.
• Ensure matters progress efficiently and to the highest professional standards.
• Provide clear, commercially‑focused advice throughout each transaction.

Required profile

• Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 2 years PQE.
• Proven track record of independently managing a full residential conveyancing caseload.
• Experience with freehold and leasehold transactions; knowledge of the Building Safety Act is a plus.
• Excellent technical ability, strong organisational and communication skills, and a proactive client‑focused approach.
• Experience using case management systems and, preferably, mentoring junior colleagues.
