About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Retail Associates to join our Homesense store in Stevenage. In this customer‑facing role you will help create a welcoming shopping environment, support daily store operations and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them throughout their shopping journey.
• Perform cashier duties, process transactions accurately and handle returns.
• Provide fitting‑room assistance and maintain a tidy, organized sales floor.
• Support back‑room activities such as stock replenishment, merchandise organization and inventory checks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure visual standards are met.
• Participate in training and development programs to grow your retail skills.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and able to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Team‑oriented, willing to support colleagues and communicate openly.
• Strong communication skills and attentive listening.
• Flexible, organized and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Motivated to learn; no prior experience required as full training is provided.
