Revenue Manager – ASC 606 Specialist

About the role

Shield AI is looking for an ambitious Revenue Manager to lead the end‑to‑end revenue recognition process for its defense‑tech products. The role sits within the Accounting team and works closely with Sales, Legal, Business Development and Program Finance across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and approve customer contracts ensuring ASC 606 compliance and provide guidance on deal structure and revenue guidance.
• Own and evolve ASC 606 revenue policies, including SSP analyses, allocations and new product pricing models.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on ASC 606, managing the full revenue accounting cycle and leading technical ad‑hoc projects.
• Streamline non‑standard contract workflows with Legal and Deal Desk to balance compliance and business objectives.
• Support internal and external audits, coordinating schedules and responding to technical accounting inquiries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical revenue accounting under ASC 606/IFRS 15, CPA preferred.
• Deep understanding of order‑to‑cash processes and impact of accounting decisions on operations.
• Experience with revenue recognition and OTC systems such as Salesforce.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to translate complex technical issues into clear guidance.

Required skills

• ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards.
• Order‑to‑cash (OTC) process knowledge.
• Salesforce or equivalent revenue‑recognition tools.
• CPA certification (preferred).
• Big 4 accounting experience (preferred).
• Understanding of SaaS/PaaS business models.
• SOX compliance awareness.
