Sales Administrator – Customer Service & Order Processing

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based in Thame, South East England, supporting a family‑run business. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, handling sales enquiries, processing orders and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer sales enquiries by phone and email, providing timely updates.
• Process individual and group sales orders accurately.
• Maintain and update customer records in the internal CRM/database.
• Assist on‑site visitors and support colleagues across departments.
• Escalate issues to management when required.
• Provide extra support during busy periods, including optional Saturday overtime.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, sales or administrative roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented, proactive and customer‑focused attitude.
