Instrumentation Sales Engineer – High‑Speed Imaging

About the role

As an Instrumentation Sales Engineer you will combine engineering knowledge with a commercial focus, promoting high‑speed imaging and measurement solutions to customers in automotive, aerospace and academic sectors. The role is office‑based with hybrid working and involves regular travel across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales opportunities for specialist high‑speed imaging and instrumentation products.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical challenges and propose suitable solutions.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients in automotive, aerospace and academic markets.
• Collaborate with technical colleagues and international partners to deliver successful outcomes.
• Manage customer activity through CRM systems and keep accurate sales records.
• Represent the company at meetings, demonstrations, exhibitions and industry events, including occasional overseas travel.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification or equivalent in an engineering or science discipline.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles related to instrumentation and metrology.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of imaging techniques in testing environments or high‑speed imaging applications is advantageous.
