Sales & Business Development Manager – Engineering Services

About the role

This field‑based position is focused on growing preventative maintenance contracts and service solutions for an established engineering business. You will work across the Midlands and Central UK, developing existing accounts and uncovering new opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and increase service contract revenue within an assigned territory.
• Manage and nurture existing customer accounts, delivering value‑based sales solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross‑selling engineering services.
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering and service teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Travel to customer sites up to three days a week and occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Proven field sales, business development or account‑management experience.
• Background in engineering, manufacturing or maintenance industries.
• Experience selling service contracts or engineering solutions is desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland and occasionally to Germany for training.
