Sales Executive – Lead Generation & Account Management

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join a well‑established manufacturer based in Essex. The position centres on generating new leads, uncovering business opportunities and meeting sales targets while nurturing lasting customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Set sales goals and develop effective strategies to achieve them.
• Research prospects and generate fresh business leads.
• Contact potential and existing customers via phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Handle customer enquiries, resolve issues and provide high‑quality service.
• Prepare and send quotes and proposals.
• Manage the sales process using internal sales software and maintain an accurate CRM database.
• Work towards and achieve monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• College or postgraduate education preferred but not essential.
• Some previous sales experience beneficial, though not mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident telephone and presentation abilities.
• Good negotiation and problem‑solving capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems and sales software.
