Sales & Operational Planning Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a driven Sales & Operational Planning Analyst to join a large global brand headquartered in Birmingham. In this hybrid role you will support the sales, inventory and operations planning process, collaborating with commercial, supply‑chain, operations and finance teams to deliver accurate plans that enable informed decision‑making and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated sales, inventory and operations plans.
• Analyse complex data sets to produce forecasts and performance reports.
• Collaborate with commercial, supply‑chain, operations and finance stakeholders to align plans with business objectives.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across planning tools.

Required profile

• Detail‑driven analytical professional with prior experience in supply‑chain planning, demand planning or operations analysis.
• Proven ability to work with large data sets and influence business performance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Power BI for data visualisation and reporting
