School Administrator (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking experienced School Administrators to support primary, SEND and secondary schools in the West Midlands on a temporary basis. Positions are available full‑time or part‑time during the school year, with working hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update pupil and staff data in SIMS or Arbor systems.
• Answer telephone calls, take messages and direct enquiries.
• Draft letters, memos and other correspondence.
• Manage filing, faxing and photocopying tasks.
• Interact professionally with parents, pupils and school staff.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a school administration role.
• Proactive, hardworking and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Comfortable taking on new tasks and multitasking in a busy environment.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SIMS school management software.
• Proficiency with Arbor school management software.
