School Cleaner – Full‑time in Cambridge area

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑respected school located in a picturesque village just outside Cambridge. The school is looking for a reliable School Cleaner to join the site team on a full‑time basis, working Monday‑Friday, eight hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.
• Maintain washroom facilities to a high standard.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust throughout the school.
• Use and store cleaning materials safely.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the school in maintaining a clean and secure learning environment.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or commercial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable and conscientious work approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
