School Reception Administrator – Haringey

About the role
This temporary, full‑time position supports a school in Haringey by providing front‑of‑house and administrative assistance. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and callers, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer telephone enquiries and manage visitor sign‑in.
- Assist with arrangements for school trips and events.
- Provide general admin support such as photocopying, filing, faxing and emailing.
- Maintain manual and computerised records, including pupil data and reports.
- Produce lists, data extracts and other information as required.
- Handle mail sorting and distribution.
- Complete standard forms and routine correspondence.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two recent professional references.
- Committed, flexible and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a school environment is essential.
Required skills
- Word processing and basic computer use.
