Secondary General Cover Teacher – Flexible Daily Supply

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic secondary teachers to provide flexible cover across KS3‑KS4 classrooms in Slough. This temporary position allows you to work on a daily‑supply basis, choosing the days and schools that suit your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and keep students engaged and on task.
• Provide additional support to pupils who need extra help.
• Follow each school’s policies and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and timetables.
• Give constructive feedback to school staff after each placement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent experience in a UK classroom, either as a newly qualified teacher or returning professional.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
