Security Analyst – Cyber Security (CompTIA CySA+, ISO27001) – Manchester

About the role

We are looking for a Security Analyst to join a fast‑growing company in Manchester. The role is hybrid, with office attendance required roughly twice a week, and offers the chance to work with the latest security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of new security solutions.
• Develop, maintain and update security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and security audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT or cyber security.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Defender or similar endpoint protection.
• Experience with Mimecast or comparable email security platforms and knowledge of SPF, DMARC and DKIM.
• Experience with Zscaler or similar proxy solutions.
• Good understanding of Cyber Essentials and ISO27001.
• CompTIA CySA+ and Microsoft Security Operations certifications.
