Security Officer – Construction Site (High Marham)

About the role

Laing O'Rourke is seeking professional Security Officers to protect a new sub‑station construction site located outside High Marham. You will work 12‑hour shifts, either day or night, on a long‑term basis, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets and the site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the gate house during day shifts, register visitors and control access.
• Patrol the site in a vehicle during night shifts, respond to CCTV alerts and investigate incidents.
• Prevent unauthorised entry and ensure that the public does not enter unsafe areas.
• Report any security breaches or safety concerns to the site management team.

Required profile

• Valid SIA licence (security guarding, door supervisor or close protection).
• UK driving licence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a large security team and collaborate with construction personnel.

Required skills

• Experience with CCTV monitoring and incident response.
