Self‑Employed Commercial & Asset Finance Broker (Commission)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established IFA and commercial finance broking firm near Maidstone, is seeking self‑employed commercial and asset finance brokers to join their network. You will operate your own business with full support, infrastructure and access to a broad range of lending partners.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage a pipeline of commercial finance and asset finance clients.
• Advise clients on suitable products such as secured/unsecured loans, bridging finance, commercial mortgages and development finance.
• Coordinate loan applications with partner lenders and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Cross‑sell additional financial services to an existing GI client base.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transaction progress.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a commercial or asset finance broker.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage your own business.
• Strong network of potential corporate or commercial clients.
• Understanding of UK lending products and regulatory environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of secured and unsecured loan products.
• Familiarity with asset finance, bridging finance and commercial mortgages.
• Ability to assess client cash‑flow and creditworthiness.
