SEN Teacher – KS2 Resource Base (Full‑Time)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a primary school’s KS2 Resource Base in Birmingham from September 2026. The role is full‑time and will run until at least the October half‑term, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for a class of 12 pupils with additional needs.
- Collaborate daily with two permanent teaching assistants to support individual learning plans.
- Work closely with parents, external agencies and school staff to monitor progress and adapt provision.
- Promote confidence, independence and wellbeing of pupils.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND at Key Stage 2.
- Commitment to inclusive education and pupil development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with support staff and external partners.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
