SEN Teacher – September Start in Hackney (MPS/UPS + Allowance)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Hackney from September. The school provides specialist support for pupils with a range of additional needs and fosters a positive learning environment where pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each pupil’s needs and work closely with a dedicated team to promote independence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with a range of additional needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals to support pupils’ learning, communication and independence.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SEN teacher.
• Experience teaching pupils with ASD, MLD, SLCN or complex needs.
• Confidence in adapting lessons to meet individual SEN pupils’ needs.
