SEN Teaching Assistant – Full‑time & Part‑time

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools within the Prospere Learning Trust, starting in September. The role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in both one‑to‑one and small‑group settings, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with SEND.
• Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Promote a positive and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to inclusion and pupil progress.
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
