SEN Teaching Assistant – Lozells (Full‑time)

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in the Lozells area of Birmingham. You will work full‑time within the school’s SEN resource base, supporting children with a variety of special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with SEND.
- Assist with personal care and daily routines as required.
- Help deliver tailored learning activities and reinforce classroom instruction.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to monitor progress and adapt strategies.
Required profile
- Level 2/3 Health and Social Care, Teaching Assistant, EYFS or Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience supporting individuals with SEND.
- Calming nature and genuine passion for improving children’s learning.
- At least two references covering a minimum of two years.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
