SEN Teaching Assistants Required

About the role

RSR Education is recruiting compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in primary schools across the Winsford area. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored learning plans and help children achieve their full potential. This role offers both full‑time and part‑time opportunities, with the chance to make a meaningful difference every day.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Assist children with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language, and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualized learning plans.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
• Help create a safe, positive and nurturing learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or SEND setting.
• A patient, caring and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
