Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will support the Financial Controller in day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording of revenue, costs and month‑end processes. Based in North West London, the role offers hybrid working and the chance to develop a broad set of accounting skills within a £500+ million market‑leading business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and report Capex and Fixed Assets for London and Manchester sites.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and monthly cost accruals.
• Prepare and reconcile balance‑sheet items and monthly management accounts.
• Enter data and maintain controls in the Oracle/SAP accounting system.
• Produce reporting packs and variance analysis for senior management.
• Cover departmental duties during holidays and submit national statistics for business surveys.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in a similar senior role.
• Strong background in Fixed Assets and Capex management.
• Familiarity with day‑to‑day accounting entries and sub‑ledger procedures.
