Senior Analytics Manager - Pricing & Promotions

About the role

This senior position leads a newly created analytics capability within a major consumer‑facing retailer. You will combine strategic leadership, advanced analytics, and commercial influence to shape pricing, promotions, range planning and trading decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the analytics strategy and roadmap for pricing, promotions, range, space and trading.
• Create modelling frameworks that support commercial decision‑making.
• Deliver actionable insights to improve revenue, margin, stock productivity and customer outcomes.
• Influence pricing, promotional, range and store portfolio decisions across the business.
• Apply advanced techniques such as forecasting, optimisation, predictive modelling and elasticity analysis.
• Act as the senior analytics partner to commercial, retail, finance and operational stakeholders.
• Establish best practice in analytical methodology, governance and delivery.
• Build and develop analytical capability while shaping the new function.

Required profile

• Strong commercial analytics experience in retail, fashion, e‑commerce or a high‑volume consumer environment.
• Proven experience working on pricing and promotions analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Exposure to Python or other analytical programming languages.
• Demonstrated capability in forecasting, optimisation, commercial modelling and analytical experimentation.
