Senior Building Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing commercial real‑estate investment company that manages a busy business park in South Manchester. The Senior Building Manager will take full ownership of three multi‑tenanted commercial buildings, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and an excellent occupier experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of three commercial buildings, coordinating both hard and soft services.
• Lead health & safety, statutory compliance and contractor performance management.
• Maintain and optimise the service‑charge budget, reporting directly to senior leadership.
• Develop strong relationships with tenants and identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
• Manage a Facilities Coordinator who reports into the role.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Building Manager within a managing‑agent environment.
• Track record managing large, multi‑tenanted commercial properties.
• Demonstrable experience with service‑charge budgeting and contractor oversight.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, statutory compliance and hard‑services management.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification highly desirable.
