Senior Business Analyst – Hybrid (Birmingham)

About the role

TXP is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join its Technology Division in Birmingham. The role is hybrid, client‑facing, and focuses on delivering complex business and digital transformation programmes across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery, requirements gathering and business analysis activities.
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Analyse and improve business processes, systems and data flows.
• Define and document business and non‑functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and user journeys.
• Support both Agile and Waterfall delivery, working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Architects and UX teams.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to the BA practice.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in an IT consultancy environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of regulated sectors such as Financial Services, Insurance, Pensions or Public Sector is desirable.
• Relevant certifications (BCS, IIBA, CBAP, PMI‑PBA) are a plus.
