Senior Business Development Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity with a leading international law firm, supporting a global disputes and contentious regulatory practice. You will work closely with senior partners and cross‑functional teams to drive strategic business development and marketing initiatives across an international network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans.
• Identify and target new client opportunities, lead pitching processes and manage thought‑leadership campaigns.
• Organise and deliver events, profile‑raising initiatives and other marketing activities.
• Manage and develop a small BD team, ensuring high standards of delivery and collaboration.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, partners and other functional areas to align business development efforts.

Required profile

• Commercially minded, proactive BD professional with strong experience in professional services.
• Proven track record in business development, marketing campaigns, client targeting and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, organisational and people‑management abilities.
