Senior Business Development Manager – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join a fast‑growing technology learning and workforce transformation business in Manchester. This hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) focuses on generating new business and delivering consultative, solution‑led sales to large UK enterprises and fast‑growth tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage your own pipeline of prospective clients.
• Identify, engage and win new logos across the UK market.
• Lead consultative sales conversations that uncover workforce and technology challenges.
• Position tailored learning, upskilling and capability solutions covering AI, cloud, cyber and digital transformation.
• Collaborate with a high‑performing commercial team to meet aggressive revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B sales, business development or consultative solution selling.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new logos and drive revenue growth.
• Commercially driven, resilient and ambitious mindset.
• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Experience in technology training, apprenticeships, SaaS, HR tech, recruitment or workforce transformation is a plus.
• Curious about customer business challenges and thrives in a fast‑growth environment.
