Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

About the Role

Join Wilderness Way as a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker and become a key driver of positive change. In this leadership position, you will mentor, coach, and inspire your team to provide exceptional care and support to children in a residential setting.

Main Missions

• Lead and motivate the residential team through active mentoring and coaching.
• Develop and implement child-centered care plans in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Act as a positive role model for young people, providing guidance and stability.
• Manage day-to-day challenges and problem-solving within the residential environment.
• Engage directly with children through educational support, outdoor activities, and daily emotional support.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience working in children's residential care or a similar social care setting.
• Possession of a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Childcare or a related field.
• High level of resilience, energy, and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
• Ability to pass a mandatory DBS check (or equivalent) and provide valid ID.
