Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – London

About the role

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on the UK team, you will work side‑by‑side with product engineers to accelerate delivery of defence‑grade solutions. You will design, build and operate secure cloud environments that power AI models and autonomous systems for national security customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement UK‑hosted cloud infrastructure from the ground up, selecting tools and patterns that meet security and performance requirements.
• Stand up secure environments for defence customers, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
• Debug and resolve deployment issues that arise within customer networks.
• Collaborate with global infrastructure teams to share best practices and avoid bottlenecks.
• Support the integration of AI models into secure programmes.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong understanding of security requirements for defence or high‑sensitivity environments.
• Ability to embed with engineering teams and troubleshoot complex deployment problems.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.
