Senior Commercial Manager – Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Manager to lead equipment‑related commercial activities for Sizewell C’s nuclear power plant construction. You will apply your expertise in large‑scale engineering programmes to ensure delivery on time, on budget and to the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Draft position papers and evaluate contract variations and complex quotations.
• Manage commercial risk and produce clear, data‑driven commercial reports.
• Oversee contract administration, particularly FIDIC, NEC3 and NEC4 frameworks.
• Drive supply‑chain management and cost‑control initiatives across the equipment portfolio.
• Collaborate with project teams to align commercial strategy with construction technology and cost drivers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering major programmes in large‑scale engineering or infrastructure projects (£10 m–£100 m+).
• Background in energy sectors such as nuclear, wind, solar, oil & gas or related industries.
• Deep understanding of construction technology, cost drivers and supply‑chain dynamics.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and NEC contract suites (highly desirable).

What we offer

• Salary of £82,186 per annum (plus 5 % annual incentive).
• Pension contributions up to 7.5 % employee / 15 % employer.
