Senior Credit Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join our commercial finance team in Uxbridge. The role involves managing customer accounts, supporting cash‑flow management and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer accounts and ensure prompt payment of invoices.
• Chase outstanding debt via telephone, email and written correspondence.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries and invoice disputes efficiently.
• Perform daily cash allocations and account reconciliations.
• Assist with cash forecasting and reporting activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate high‑risk accounts and support debt‑reduction initiatives.
• Produce credit control reports and keep accurate records.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Credit Control role, preferably at senior level.
• Strong experience resolving customer queries and account disputes.
• Understanding of cash forecasting and cash allocation processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
