Senior Data Business Analyst – SQL & Python

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Business Analyst with strong SQL and Python expertise to join our client’s Tech SME team, supporting EU Routing & Smart Delivery operations. The role is a 6‑month contract based in the UK, offering the chance to drive analytics solutions in a fast‑moving e‑commerce logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, scope and deliver end‑to‑end analytics solutions for complex, ill‑defined problems.
• Generate recommendations that influence business strategy and own items on the team’s roadmap.
• Streamline processes, improve data quality and collaborate with data owners and production systems.
• Lead strategic programmes that support long‑term organisational decisions.

Required profile

• Expert‑level Business Analysis experience in large corporate settings (logistics background a plus).
• Proven ability to work with extensive datasets and enhance their efficiency.
• Comfortable with a full‑time onsite commitment (five days a week, with limited flexibility).

Required skills

• SQL (expert level).
• Python for data analysis.
• Understanding of database architecture and performance optimisation.
