About the role
As a Senior Design Engineer you will contribute to early‑stage civil and structural design on a variety of rail, highway, energy and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. You will work on operational assets such as bridges, stations and heavy civil works, ensuring they are integrated with other engineering disciplines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop concept and detailed designs for bridges, stations and other civil structures.
- Coordinate design efforts across structural, civil, geotechnical and construction engineering teams.
- Support inspection, strengthening and replacement design of existing infrastructure.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including Network Rail and Transport for London (TfL) to align design solutions.
Required profile
- Proven experience in civil and structural design for infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of design integration across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Ability to work on complex projects and manage stakeholder interactions.
