Senior Finance Manager – Global Banking Group (Hybrid, £85k)

About the role

This senior finance position sits within a medium‑sized global banking group that values stability, staff retention and collaborative culture. The role is split between financial reporting (about 70%) and tax reporting/compliance (about 30%). You will work on a hybrid schedule – three days in the office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Produce analytical reports for senior management.
• Manage the full tax compliance cycle, including Transfer Pricing, Corporation Tax and VAT.
• Ensure accurate trial balances and timely filing of all direct and indirect tax returns.
• Support the finance team with ad‑hoc projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Fully‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Minimum 5 years experience in financial, management and tax accounting.
• Banking or broader financial‑services experience preferred.
• Hands‑on, end‑to‑end approach to finance processes.
• Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.
