Senior Finance Manager – Housing Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join a high‑performing finance team supporting a leading housing organisation’s development and commercial activities. The role offers ownership of key financial reporting, robust analysis and close partnership with senior stakeholders across Development, Sales & Marketing and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts for the Latimer division.
• Review, analyse and challenge financial information produced by junior team members.
• Post journals, manage ground rent and rental income postings, and perform reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Conduct trial balance reviews, update reporting packs, dashboards and presentation materials.
• Produce and analyse Sales & Marketing reporting and support related finance meetings.
• Maintain scheme reconciliations for Sales & Marketing activities and ensure strong financial controls.

Required profile

• Strong management accounting experience within a Registered Social Landlord or Housing Association environment.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality management reporting and financial analysis.
• Experience reviewing and mentoring junior finance staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and influence decision‑making.

• Hybrid working – 2 days in the office, flexibility for mandatory meetings.
• Competitive daily rate of £314 – £405 (PAYE or Umbrella contract).
• Temporary assignment of 3 to 6 months with potential for extension.
