Senior Finance Manager – Hybrid, £80k + Benefits

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will join a market‑leading national organisation based in Birmingham. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will lead a small high‑performing team and own financial reporting and performance oversight for a key business unit. The role is hybrid, offering exposure to senior leadership and the chance to influence strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely management reporting for the business unit.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity and oversee financial controls and governance.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with divisional leadership to challenge performance and support strategic decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across reporting processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a graduate degree.
• Strong background in financial reporting, planning and analysis, and business partnering.
• Experience in a large, complex organisation, preferably within retail or logistics.
• Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proactive leadership style with a drive for continuous improvement.
