Senior Financial Accountant – Group Accounting

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support the month‑end close process.
• Produce accurate balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with year‑end audit activities, including audit schedule preparation and liaison with external auditors.
• Support statutory accounts preparation and tax filings.
• Contribute to group consolidation in a multi‑currency environment.
• Mentor a small team of Accounts Assistants.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives and support wider finance projects.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA or CA) with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting expertise.
• Proven experience in an international reporting environment.
• Highly adaptable, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑evolving organisation.
