Senior Fraud & Financial Crime Analyst – Payments

About the role

This newly created senior position focuses on fraud analytics within a fast‑growing payments environment, supporting the launch of a new credit‑card product. You will work closely with product, operations and compliance teams to optimise fraud controls, monitor performance and deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor fraud trends, identify emerging risks and analyse transaction data.
• Develop and optimise fraud rules, controls and decision‑making strategies.
• Produce dashboards, reporting packs and regulatory management information.
• Support testing, validation and implementation of fraud solutions.
• Collaborate with product, operations and compliance teams to enhance the overall fraud strategy.

Required profile

• Experience in card fraud or payments fraud analytics.
• Strong understanding of card transactions, fraud risks and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python for data analysis and insight generation.
• Experience with fraud decisioning or fraud‑prevention platforms.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
