Senior HR Advisor (Projects)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established organisation in South Birmingham that is undergoing positive change. The Senior HR Advisor (Projects) will support and deliver key HR initiatives, blending project work with operational HR support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support HR projects across the employee lifecycle.
• Assist with implementation, optimisation and upgrades of HR systems and processes.
• Review, update and develop HR policies, procedures and documentation.
• Analyse HR data to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Provide first‑class HR advice to managers and employees on employee‑relations matters.
• Ensure HR practices comply with current UK employment legislation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive engagement and adoption of new processes and systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior HR Advisor or in an HR‑project‑focused role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience leading HR systems implementations, upgrades or optimisation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to review and update HR policies and procedures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and project‑management capabilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
