Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Christian Aid is seeking a Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer on a 12‑month maternity cover basis. Reporting to the Individual Giving Lead, you will shape and deliver the strategy that attracts new supporters through high‑impact campaigns such as Christian Aid Week, Christmas, and Emergency Appeals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Individual Giving acquisition strategy across multiple channels.
• Lead regular‑giving recruitment to grow lifetime giving and expand the supporter base.
• Manage a team of two Individual Giving Acquisition Officers.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, manage budgets and forecast campaign performance.
• Test new products, optimise messaging and channels to attract one‑off and regular donors.
• Champion the “Believe in the Possible” proposition to inspire new supporters.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in individual giving, fundraising or donor acquisition.
• Strong track record of leading multi‑channel acquisition campaigns.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting performance and delivering cost‑effective results.
• Leadership experience, including managing a small team.

• Fixed‑term contract (up to 12 months) with a salary of £41,783 – £46,666 per year (London allowance included).
