About the role

This senior position offers an experienced Insurance Disputes Solicitor the chance to join a leading insurance practice in London. You will work with insurers and reinsurers on complex, high‑value coverage and liability matters across a range of lines.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex coverage, liability defence and policy interpretation matters.
• Manage high‑value, cross‑border disputes with an international element.
• Handle professional indemnity claims, subrogated recoveries and fraud investigations.
• Develop dispute‑resolution strategies for financial, cyber, property, reinsurance and specialty risks.
• Supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in insurance disputes, preferably from a recognised insurance practice.
• Deep understanding of the London insurance market and its commercial dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage high‑value matters with minimal supervision.
• Experience supervising junior staff and building client relationships.
