Senior Internal Auditor – Private Banking

About the role

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Private Banking Internal Audit team in London. You will work closely with regional and global audit teams, evaluating control environments and helping shape a robust governance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute audit engagements throughout the full audit lifecycle.
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders and audit colleagues.
• Document and review audit workpapers and reports independently.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to senior executives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and market events that impact the private banking business.
• Influence and drive the audit reporting process.
• Collaborate with the wider audit team to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Finance or a related discipline.
• Relevant internal or external audit experience within financial services.
• Strong understanding of internal control concepts and audit methodology.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
