Senior Java Developer – Middle Office Transformation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join PIMCO’s middle‑office transformation team in London. You will help build and maintain the data infrastructure and reporting tools that enable investment teams to access accurate positions, P&L and performance information.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java‑based components of the middle‑office platform, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Build and support data pipelines, storage solutions and reporting utilities.
• Provide Level 3 support for production applications, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, operations and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into production‑quality software.
• Apply rigorous testing practices and follow software architecture best‑practice guidelines.
