Senior Key Account & Access Manager (UK)

About the Role

As a Key Account & Access Manager, you will be the strategic face of Cytokinetics in the North East of England, driving the successful launch and adoption of a groundbreaking cardiovascular therapy within the NHS landscape.

Main Missions

• Lead market access, adoption, and sustainable growth across the North East territory.
• Manage strategic accounts to meet and exceed commercial KPIs and business objectives.
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with clinicians, pharmacists, commissioners, and pathway leads.
• Translate complex clinical data into compelling, compliant value propositions.
• Shape local patient pathways, secure inclusion in formularies, and proactively remove barriers to adoption.
• Utilize data-driven insights to prioritize, plan, and execute territory strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless and premium customer experience.
• Facilitate workshops, pathway reviews, and service development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the UK pharmaceutical/biotech sector, specifically in secondary care sales or market access.
• Demonstrated track record of successful product launches (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience in local implementation of access and adoption strategies (beyond high-level strategy).
• Strong ability to operate with speed, clarity, and resilience in a fast-paced, growing organization.
